GUNNAR® Optiks digital eyewear improves visual performance for many computer users.

It is an excellent “out-of-the-box” solution for those with 20/20 vision or 20/20 corrected (contact lenses, surgery etc.) vision.

However, some physical environments or visual conditions fall outside the range of GUNNAR® accommodation. If you are not completely satisfied with the standard GUNNAR® solution or range of accommodation you may want to consider our GUNNAR Rx program. Ask your eye care professional for more information. If you purchased your product through our on-line store and wish to receive a prompt refund of your purchase price, please email customerservice@gunnars.no to receive an RA# from our warranty department.

The Product must be returned within 30 days from purchase date. If you purchased through a retail partner then please return to the original place of purchase and follow that stores policy.

GUNNAR Optiks warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. If a defect exists, Gunnar Optiks will either repair the product at no cost or exchange the product with a new or remanufactured product that is of equal or greater quality and condition.

Which Glasses Suit My Face?

Round, angular, long or even heart-shaped? As individual as the shape of your head are the frames and glasses of the GUNNAR computer glasses. You can determine your face shape very easily by combing your hair out of the face and look at it in a mirror. The chin, cheek and forehead width as well as the length of your face are crucial for the determination of the shape of your face.

If forehead, cheeks and chin have approximately the same width and the face appears rather long and narrow, we speak of an angular face shape. This shape goes well with spectacle frames, which make the face look rounder and softer. Round or oval glasses without rim or with a narrow frame let the face look less hard and thus more friendly.

Soft and evenly formed – that is how a round face looks like. The forehead is slightly narrower as the cheeks. With this face shape a model is recommended, which elongates the face optically. Narrow, rectangular glasses with a thin frame bring to bear this face shape especially well. Also half frame eyeglasses let the face look slightly longer, as they put emphasis on the eye area.

The oval form is the joker under the eyeglass faces: Nearly all frames fit to it. An oval face appears elongated and slim. The cheekbones are slightly wider as the forehead and the chin. Depending on your wishes you can let this face appear harder and more distinctive by using an angular glass frame or softer by using a round model.

Like a heart or a turned triangle this face shape passes top down. The forehead is especially pronounced and the chin slim. The open eye area can be underlined especially well with eyeglass frames, which become narrower to the downward direction. But also the oval or round glasses draw attention to this face shape very well. Wide, prominent sidepieces should be disregarded.

This lens gives the greatest visual enhancement but is limited in variable viewing distances. Transcopic is specifically tuned for across the room viewing distances.
